"Yes it was." He smiled brightly. "I brought one or two humans here during that time, but they never stayed for very long. They chose to go back and...well needless to say they always thought it had been a wonderful dream so they never called for me." He shifted, lifting Lindsey's pizza box, draping his legs over the man before laying the box back down.

"I normally don't take interest in humans. Not...for a very long time." He glanced at him briefly. "Not saying you, but most humans have...short attention spans. They find something better and brighter or they don't believe so...they write it all off." He started on his fourth slice.

"As much as you might not believe me on a lot of things, I wanted to spend time with you. To get to know you, because you don't seem like the others. You are interesting and enjoyable to be around." He smiled again. "I don't do these things for you because I expect something out of you. Honestly. Lindsey..." He frowned slightly then instead. "I know what you think sometimes. If I only had you around for sex I wouldn't have you around."
