Gabriel/Lindsey 1
It had been a few days since he'd brought Lindsey to his home. He'd been giving the man a little time to adjust. Yeah, he'd taken most of his memories and locked them away so deep that no one would be able to find them, but deep down he'd left Lindsey with the sense that Gabriel wasn't done with him. That it hadn't just been a one night stand.
Gabriel hummed softly as he looked at the tv, smirking a bit when he saw Lindsey walking out of Wolfram & Hart. He was moving around his apartment, setting things up for what he hoped Lindsey would enjoy. A date of sorts, he thought to himself as he looked at the dinner he'd whipped up that would stay hot until they were ready to eat.
He was tempted to just snap and bring Lindsey there at that moment, but he decided to wait, to see for himself if the man would call for him or not. So far he hadn't, but he'd been occupied by work and probably worry over the fact that he was missing memories of their night together. Gabriel shrugged, summoning a glass of wine before sitting down and waiting.

They tried other things too, hypnosis and other memory delving tricks, but whatever it was, they couldn't get an answer. As expected, they started becoming suspicious of Lindsey.
Other than that, work went on as normal and Lindsey became wrapped in a case where his demonic client accidentally set a building on fire.
By the time he left his office, it was nearly midnight.

He felt on edge. The barriers he'd put up to block the memories from the law firm had held easily, but Gabriel had still felt when the mindreaders had tried to glean the information they wanted. To say it had given Gabriel the creeps was an understatement.
no subject
After his especially grueling day though, this time he took longer under the hot streams, just reflecting over the last few days.
The mindreaders had picked up that he was able to call to Gabriel and tried to make him, and he did, at the office, yet nothing came of it. Now though, in the short and looking at his new hand, he tried again.
Gabriel? Are you there? Who... what are you?
no subject
"Memories back now?" He did pick up his glass, swirling the wine inside before taking a sip, eyes bright with amusement. He warmed the air of the apartment so Lindsey wouldn't get cold in his currently soaked state.
no subject
"What in the world! Gabriel!" he cried, memories having flooded back and left the lawyer none too pleased with his current state.
He also flushed beet red when he realized that the archangel was just standing there, sipping wine and smirking at his naked state. "Couldn't you wait— I was in the shower!" He looked around desperately for something to cover himself with. "My shower's still on!" he added crossly when he couldn't seem to find anything.
no subject
"I'm sorry. It...I didn't really think. You could finish your shower here though." He stepped to the side so Lindsey could see into the kitchen. "I was kind of hoping you might want to stay the night. I...made dinner and..." He suddenly shifted again, almost seeming self conscious.

Clutching tightly at the magical towel, he shook his head and ran his free hand through his wet hair. "It's alright, I was done. It's just that I don't have any clothes and—" what Gabriel had said caught up to him. "You've been waiting?"
That earned the angel a disbelieving look and he shook his head. "Can you get me some clothes?"
no subject
He took another sip of his wine before sitting down on the couch, leaning back. "I was hoping you would call for me sooner. I've been itching to pull you back anyways, but I didn't know if you would want that."
no subject
"Yeah, it would've been a bad idea if you did anything in those circumstances. Waiting was the better choice although I'm not sure that they haven't been checking on me since then."
Lindsey glanced into the bedroom to see what it was waiting for him there. Anything would've been better than the towel he had on. He was actually pleased to find that some of his clothes were there waiting for him. "You raided my closet?"

Oh, he had fallen asleep after all.
So how did he end up in the bed, warmly covered by the blankets and snuggled with an archangel beside him? He couldn't recall any of this, much less getting into the bedroom as he was now.
Not wanting to wake up Gabriel if the other was sleeping, Lindsey stayed where he was and thought.

An archangel, who also knew about his occupation, his contract with hell, yet seemed only determined to help him out. It had been two nights, but true to the the word given to him, Gabriel hadn't tried hurting him at all.
In fact, archangel didn't seem to want much from him at all except to cuddle, feed, and have sex. It was worth it though. Lindsey could think of worse conditions to fulfill than to play concubine for an archangel. No, not concubine... although he had no idea what he was in their strange little relationship.
Deciding it was too early for such thoughts, he closed his eyes and tried to blank out his mind. He could stay here as long as he wanted. He could use that break. He might as well enjoy that for now.
no subject
He dropped back down, looking over at Lindsey before smiling softly. He could tell Lindsey was awake. "Morning." He shifted, stretching out next to him before turning to face him.
no subject
Even though time meant nothing, it would seem that Lindsey's body still recognized its passage. There was a morning stubble on the lawyer's face and his voice was raspy from a night's sleep. But he looked good though, that was probably the most rest he got since the last time he was here.

"Breakfast sound good?" He had shed his shirt at some point during the night and he pushed the blanket down, lightly scratching his chest. "Hmm maybe a shower first..." He mumbled before brushing his fingers through his wild hair.
no subject
He knew Gabriel hadn't asked, but if he was going to stay on the man's good side, he might as well take some initiative.
"So does a shower... yes, a shower." His smile warmed when he turned it onto the archangel. "Mind if I join you?"
no subject
He slipped out of bed, stretching briefly again before padding towards the bathroom. "Tropical paradises, secluded bungaloos, you name it."

All he had to worry about was Gabriel and the angel was very accommodating so far.
That didn't mean Lindsey would do whatever he wanted. By the fourth day, he was sitting relaxed on the large couch and perusing the case files he brought from home. He was eventually going back to work, and even if Gabriel had promised that he could send him back without having lost any time, Lindsey still preferred to be caught up.
So for that whole morning, he leisurely read.
no subject
"You know, Linds, I don't know anyone who brings work on a vacation. You really are a workaholic." He rubbed a hand over his thigh before turning his head and kissing his leg through the pj bottoms. He stretched a bit, summoning a soda and taking a sip.
no subject
He looked up from the pages down to where Gabriel was still sprawled on his leg. "I can't just do nothing and have sex every day."
no subject
"Plus whats wrong with having sex! I've never heard you complain before. Especially not last night...in fact I think I remember you saying something like...'Oh please Gabe don't stop. I could spend all day having you fuck me and fill me. Make me yours.'? He smirked.
no subject
"Also, I'm quite sure I didn't say it like that."
no subject
The video showed Lindsey up against the wall, Gabriel pounding into him. Both of them were covered in a sheen of sweat. "So would you like to retract that statement?" He reached up, snagging the papers Lindsey was reading, sitting up and moving away quickly.
no subject
"Gabriel!!" He cried out, mortified but using his anger at Gabriel grabbing his things to hide it. Yet, at the same time, he couldn't stop glancing to the tv. Seeing himself on television, watching how he was all but drilled into the wall by the archangel pinning him there, Gabriel may notice that Lindsey's PJs were beginning to tent at the front.
Finally tearing his eyes away from the tv, he glared at the angel. "Give me back my file!"
no subject
"Come and get it." He danced backwards towards the deck, waving the file playfully and smiling brightly. "If you can catch me I might let you have it back."
