He laughed hard, jumping back before he ran across the deck and out onto the beach. He knew Lindsey was close behind him and he slowed slightly once they were actually away from the house.

He stumbled in the sand on purpose, giving Lindsey the advantage now. He was still laughing and he clawed a bit at the sand to try to push himself up.
