Gabriel/Lindsey 1

It had been a few days since he'd brought Lindsey to his home. He'd been giving the man a little time to adjust. Yeah, he'd taken most of his memories and locked them away so deep that no one would be able to find them, but deep down he'd left Lindsey with the sense that Gabriel wasn't done with him. That it hadn't just been a one night stand.

Gabriel hummed softly as he looked at the tv, smirking a bit when he saw Lindsey walking out of Wolfram & Hart. He was moving around his apartment, setting things up for what he hoped Lindsey would enjoy. A date of sorts, he thought to himself as he looked at the dinner he'd whipped up that would stay hot until they were ready to eat.

He was tempted to just snap and bring Lindsey there at that moment, but he decided to wait, to see for himself if the man would call for him or not. So far he hadn't, but he'd been occupied by work and probably worry over the fact that he was missing memories of their night together. Gabriel shrugged, summoning a glass of wine before sitting down and waiting.

"You give me the impression you'll like any dessert," Lindsey observed, but after taking a bite of his own, he was obliged to agree that it was pretty good. "It must be good to have angel metabolism."

While the two of them polished the dessert at a rate much faster than the rest of dinner, Lindsey considered what to watch. "I don't know," he finally answered when it came down to his last bite. "I never watched tv much... work got in the way most of the time." And there were too poor to afford one when he was a kid.

"Not monster movies," was the first thing Lindsey found himself saying. He followed with with a grimace and pushed the plate away from him. "I have enough of that in real life to watch it in fiction as well. Same for lawyer ones."

He relaxed into the topic though and thought about the question more thoroughly. "Other than that, I don't think I really care." He had watched some tv while he was a student since there was a television in the common room, but he couldn't recall most of the stuff he watched.

Lindsey hadn't meant to, but he had to laugh at the movie watching outfit that Gabriel chose. He sat down next to him with an awkward little smile, feeling suddenly out of place in his dress shirt and pants.

"Uh... if you don't mind?" He indicated down at his clothes.

He started off not leaning against Gabriel, but with how the archangel was sprawled on the couch, Lindsey found the only place he could sit would be against him. Right... doing anything to keep this going. Shifting slightly, he turned around and settled himself against the angel so the other could hold him in a comfortable embrace.

Lindsey's attention on the black and white movie was really waning after he settled in the angel's arms. The blanket was soft and warm, and the soft rubbing made him realize he was more drowsy than he let on.

He tried to stay awake though, thinking that it could be interpreted as rude if he fell asleep on the archangel, but not fifteen minutes in his eyes were drooping. By the time half an hour hit, he was sleeping soundly against the angel.
