Gabriel/Lindsey 1
It had been a few days since he'd brought Lindsey to his home. He'd been giving the man a little time to adjust. Yeah, he'd taken most of his memories and locked them away so deep that no one would be able to find them, but deep down he'd left Lindsey with the sense that Gabriel wasn't done with him. That it hadn't just been a one night stand.
Gabriel hummed softly as he looked at the tv, smirking a bit when he saw Lindsey walking out of Wolfram & Hart. He was moving around his apartment, setting things up for what he hoped Lindsey would enjoy. A date of sorts, he thought to himself as he looked at the dinner he'd whipped up that would stay hot until they were ready to eat.
He was tempted to just snap and bring Lindsey there at that moment, but he decided to wait, to see for himself if the man would call for him or not. So far he hadn't, but he'd been occupied by work and probably worry over the fact that he was missing memories of their night together. Gabriel shrugged, summoning a glass of wine before sitting down and waiting.

His grin when he found out that the archangel was, of all things, ticklish, was one of absolute evil delight. "Is that so?" he smirked and ran his fingers over Gabriel purposefully to tickle him.
Let's see if the angel could still zap anything now.

He panted, hands up to try and grab Lindsey if he tried again. "Knock it off!" He laughed, eyes sparkling with mirth. "Thats not fair!"
no subject
"Not fair for what? I don't recall there being any rules of engagement for this," Lindsey continued smirking as he ran one hand down Gabriel's side. It was good to know that he could turn tables on the angel if he wanted to.
Sprawling over Gabriel's laid out form, he nuzzled at the archangel's neck playfully.
no subject
"Unless you'd rather stay out here a bit longer. I might have to fix the skylight over the bed...been thinking about it." He turned, kissing him again. "Take out the skylight...nothing between us and the stars tonight..."
no subject
"Yes, you mentioned something about pizza?" Lindsey murmured although he rather enjoyed just curling against Gabriel like this. Nothing to do... it wasn't a bad feeling. Very refreshing compared to his normally busy life.
"As long as it doesn't rain, I don't care if you remove the whole roof to your place. No rain, no bugs, and no sky invaders from another dimension."
no subject
"Yes, pizza. Nice, hot, and gooey coming right up. Brace yourself. I'm zapping us." He snapped and suddenly instead of being naked on a floating mattress in the ocean they were lying on the couch with Lindsey more firmly on top of him. "Well this is nice."
He winked, nudging him up lightly. "No rain, bugs, or aliens, gotcha."
no subject
"Am I going to be naked the whole time I'm here?"
He sat up so he could get a better look around the place. "I don't know about you, but it feels weird to be eating dinner naked."
no subject
He sat up as well before standing, motioning to the kitchen. "Any kind of pizza you want. Its all here. Anything left I'll just...put up for leftovers. Cold pizza for breakfast rocks. Oh and no I don't plan on you being naked the whole time...just most." He winked.
no subject
He arched his brows at the archangel and stood as well, moving to follow Gabriel in. It had been a long while since he had a meat lover's pizza with everything on it.
"I guess as long as I won't get burned or catch a cold, or have to stand before a jury like that, I don't really mind."
no subject
"You are really starting to get the hang of that, aren't you?" He kissed him quickly before setting it down for him. He grabbed the next box and when he flipped it open he made a happy sound as he looked at the deep dish pepperoni with extra cheese and mushroom. He also summoned two beers, grabbing them and motioning back to the living room.
"I'm throwing some random comedy on the tv. Come on." He bounced a bit happily before smiling and heading back into the living room.
no subject
"Comedy? Sure," he said as he grabbed one of the beers and sighed loudly as he sank into the couch. Taking his first bite of pizza, he all but groaned out in absolute delight.
"Just the way I remembered it... I'm not going to wake up and find this is a dream and I'm hungry for pizza, am I?"
no subject
He shifted, snuggling up next to him as he took a bite of his pizza, his own groan sounding practically pornographic. "Man its been ages since I had good pizza!"
He smiled up at Lindsey. "Nope you are really eating pizza in the middle of nowhere."
no subject
"I suppose that's how the television works without electricity too?" Lindsey was amused when he saw there were no wires coming out of the set. Not that there were any sockets for it to plug into anyway.
"Gabriel," he smiled smugly at the angel after a bite of pizza, "I have very good control over my thoughts."
no subject
"Everything works here because I want it to. Or...we want it to. Its all in how you look at it." He kissed his shoulder before turning back to his pizza, chowing down.
"I'm glad you do. You can let go sometimes though, just have fun with it Mr. Workaholic."
no subject
Smirking, Lindsey polished off another piece of pizza and comfortably settled shoulder to shoulder with Gabriel while he held a third piece.
"So, how often do you bring a guy home with you? Once every decade?" Obviously there had been others, Gabriel said as much.
no subject
"Guys and girls. The last...being I brought here was...a while ago. Her name is Kali." He wondered if Lindsey would catch the name and understand just who he was referring to.
no subject
"You don't mean Kali?" he asked, pausing to look wide eyed at the archangel beside him. It also didn't slip beneath his notice that Gabriel had been vague with 'being'.
"... when's the last time you brought a human here?"
no subject
He slowly looked over at Lindsey, watching him for a moment. "Umm human?" He thought about it, remembering back before speaking. "Last human I brought here was...during the Roman Empire?"
no subject
"But Roman Empire... wasn't that the age of debauchery?" All this time, he hadn't paid attention to what was playing on the TV at all.
no subject
"I normally don't take interest in humans. Not...for a very long time." He glanced at him briefly. "Not saying you, but most humans have...short attention spans. They find something better and brighter or they don't believe so...they write it all off." He started on his fourth slice.
"As much as you might not believe me on a lot of things, I wanted to spend time with you. To get to know you, because you don't seem like the others. You are interesting and enjoyable to be around." He smiled again. "I don't do these things for you because I expect something out of you. Honestly. Lindsey..." He frowned slightly then instead. "I know what you think sometimes. If I only had you around for sex I wouldn't have you around."
no subject
"Human lives must be like a blink of an eye compared to those others who interest you," Lindsey said neutrally after he swallowed his pizza. To be perfectly truthful, he still couldn't figure out why Gabriel found him interesting at all. He wasn't an immortal, he wasn't even an experienced lover, and even he knew he had more flaws than anything that pleased.
Not liking the direction those thoughts were going down, Lindsey forcefully moved himself from them. Time to change Gabriel's line of thought too.
"A third of the movie's over and I don't even know the title of what we're watching."
no subject
He leaned back against the arm, trying to think of how to elaborate. "Free will...even angels have it, but only to a degree without becoming something else. Unless I choose a different path, yes I will live forever. I can be killed but...well nothing on Earth can do it. You though, Lindsey...because your life is limited it is beautiful. You take risks and make choices every day, you live your life."
He sighed then, blushing brightly and making a face before turning and looking at the tv. "I honestly just snagged something current. Its apparently some popular comedy out right now?"
no subject
Realizing he was getting dragged back to the thoughts he wanted to escape, Lindsey shook his head and closed his pizza box. "I'm good," he said although he couldn't tell if it was his lost of appetite or if he really was full, more likely a mixture of the two.
"And I wouldn't know. Like I said... I haven't watched anything in some time. But... if you can... rewind it? Maybe we'll watch it properly this time."
no subject
"Promise I'm not reading your thoughts...but you think too much. I can see it on your face." He pulled him down, kissing him softly. "So just relax. Enjoy yourself. Eat, drink, and be merry!" He smiled before shifting and wrapping an arm around Lindsey before focusing on the tv.
no subject
"You know, I'm pretty sure Wolfram and Hart employees are supposed to swear off the word of God." He was trying to joke at least. It was also apparent that although the movie restarted, it really didn't interest Lindsey much.
