What Lindsey thought was Gabriel looked ridiculous dressed like that in his apartment. Perhaps it would be better when they moved to the mentioned tropical island. Admittedly, the trunks looked much better.

"If anything is missing, can't you just get them for me?"

Opening his arms by his side, Lindsey arched his brows as if asking when will Gabriel either change his clothes for him or transfer then to somewhere more suitable.

He smirked, fingers clicking and suddenly the apartment melted away around them and they were standing in bright sunshine on a white sandy beach in the middle of the ocean. Lindsey's clothes had been changed and Gabriel laughed, looking at him in the black speedo.

He turned, looking out at the water before making his sunglasses disappear. "Care for a swim?"

Lindsey suppose he should have expected that after the challenge he raised, but he could only open and close his mouth again as he wordlessly protested the change.

"I don't get a say in what I wear?" he finally answered with a mock huff then shook his head. He became distracted by the world around him instead.

"I... don't know how to swim." It wasn't like he had much of an opportunity to learn.

"Do you want to wear something else?" He called over his shoulder before stopping and looking back at him. The look on his face was one of surprise as he asked softly. "You don't know how to swim?" It took him a moment to process before he held a hand out. "Come on. I bet the water feels amazing...and I promise I would never let you drown."

He kept his hand out as he slowly backed up towards the ocean. "Come on Lindsey. It'll be fun."

Lindsey continued eying the water warily, but at Gabriel's open invite, he knew he couldn't keep dallying. Well, he let the archangel fuck him and take him into unknown realities, he might as well trust that Gabriel wouldn't drown him too.

He reached out and took Gabriel's hand before wading slowly into the water. Like the archangel said, the water felt nice and cool compared to the heat of the tropical sun.

"Okay... this isn't too bad... I never had opportunity to swim as a kid and it never came up."

"Thats understandable. Well, you don't have to worry here." He pointed out to the horizon, smiling brightly. "You could go all the way out there and never worry about drowning. Even if I'm not right here with you. You are safe here." He pulled his hand away slowly before winking and then ducking under water. After a few moments he splashed back up and held up a shell, letting the sun sparkle off the smooth inside.

"Just do whatever you are comfortable with."

"Are you saying I can breathe underwater now?" Given that this reality was false and he was hanging out with an archangel, Lindsey wouldn't be too terribly surprised if that was the case here. Although, after wading out a bit further, he realized the water wouldn't get past his waist.

"It's very shallow here... and not much waves." He looked up and smiled at the angel. "Your doing?"

"Yeah you can breathe underwater! How else are you supposed to be able to go under and look at all the awesome ocean life? Its pretty amazing under there." He winked again as Lindsey realized the water wasn't getting any deeper.

"Well lets just say that the water will get deeper if and when you are ready for it to. Its to make you comfortable. I could help you learn how to swim..." He shrugged a shoulder.

Lindsey's brows rose in half challenge and, in a moment of daring, dipped his head underwater and slowly released his breath. Bubbles rose to the surface in a steady stream.

Now came the hard part, slowly breathing back in. Lindsey sputtered and coughed as water flooded his nose and mouth but he didn't seem to be drowning.

"What...?" Forgetting he was underwater, the word came out muddled until he resurfaced with a gasp.

"That was weird."

Gabriel raised an eyebrow and crossed his arms over his chest, shaking his head before he started laughing. "Plunge right in why don't ya!"

He snapped his fingers, summoning an inflatable lounger before kicking back and summoning a margarita. He sipped at it, humming in satisfaction before motioning to him. "Would you like one too? Or anything else for that matter?"

"You told me I can breathe underwater. I had to test it out." Lindsey scoffed. Wading through the water, he made his way over to where Gabriel lounged in rested his arms on the floating bed.

"So, what, just drink margaritas and float in the sun?" He looked back to the island they were on. "I feel like I should be doing something."

"Well I'm glad you tested it at least. I wanted you to know it was real." He shrugged a shoulder. "You don't have to drink and float around the whole time. I don't have to be with you the whole time either." He shifted, staring at Lindsey.

"You can go up to the bungaloo, walk around the island, even go sailing if thats what you want. If you need anything, just think it and you'll have it. I figure it can't be much fun having someone around all the time, especially when you want to relax. So enjoy, have fun! I'm around and if you need me I'll be there in a heartbeat." He pulled Lindsey in for a quick kiss, brushing fingers through his hair before laying his head back.

Except Lindsey didn't think it was such a great idea to leave the archangel so soon. He wanted to get the man on his side and running off isn't the best way to do that.

Yet, he could test the theory too. Thinking like Gabriel told him to, Eliot thought up a large floating mattress, big enough for two, and for a gin and tonic to appear.

"I have all the time in the world, right? I can relax a bit."

The float Gabriel was laying on shifted into the mattress that Lindsey had thought up and the drink appeared in Gabriel's other hand. "You have taste." He winked before holding the drink out, stretching and wiggling a bit on the mattress.

"Yeah you do. Just kick back and enjoy your vacation." He smiled warmly before laying his head back and closing his eyes.

"Tanqueray?" Lindsey asked about the gin as he carefully scrambled onto the floating bed. It was harder than he thought as this was truly a water bed.

Finally managing to without tossing them both into the water, he relaxed down against Gabriel and settled fwith his head laid pillowed on the archangel's chest.

"I never actually took any of my vacation days from work for the purpose of vacationing." In short, Lindsey was pretty much a workaholic. It was how he climbed so high at such a young age, selling his soul aside.

"Hey its whatever you wanted in it." He motioned at the drink before wrapping his arm around Lindsey. He could definitely get used to this. "Might summon a canopy. Wouldn't want both of us to end up looking like lobsters if we fall asleep." Of course they wouldn't because Gabriel wouldn't let it happen, but it would still be nice.

"You are a workaholic. Hell I'm an archangel and a pagan god and I don't even work as much as you." He smirked before pressing his lips against the top of Lindsey's head. "You know, I have to agree with you. You can definitely pull off a speedo."

"It is getting a bit hot," Lindsey allowed although he did turn a mock glare onto the archangel. That was also when he realized he wasn't wearing sunglasses like the archangel was. About to say something about that, he was surprised by the world suddenly dimming.

"That thinking thing really works, huh." He relaxed back against Gabriel and smirked slightly.

"Don't you know? The demons of hell are slave drivers. I don't get to sit on fluffy clouds and lounge away the day like angels can... well, not normally."

He snapped an a large canopy appeared over them as a cool tropical breeze blew over them as well. He smiled at the sunglasses. "You're getting the hang of it at least." He chuckled before relaxing again.

"Yeah well, when you have someone like my brother calling the shots down there you tend to be too afraid to be anything else. Luci would probably start snapping them into chunky soup." He made a face at the thought of that.

"Angels do not sit on fluffy clouds. Well, I don't at least. I work too."

"This doesn't look like much working," Lindsey observed as he turned to look at Gabriel over the top of his sunglasses. Pushing them back up his nose, he closed his eyes and settled back.

There was a brief moment when he considered summoning his case files to him but discarded the idea quickly. Already the angel was calling him a workaholic, that wouldn't do in his plan of seduction.

Instead, he thought up a bottle of sunscreen. Lindsey may have never put these things on before in his entire life, but it was a useful ploy if he wanted Gabriel to get handsy with him. "Can I ask for your help with this?"

"Hey even I get vacations!" He nudged Lindsey playfully, raising an eyebrow at him as he took a sip of his margarita. "It might not seem like it, but I actually do work quite a bit. I travel all over the world...punishing people who deserve to be punished."

He looked at the bottle, nodding before reaching for it and sitting up. "Scoot to the middle. I'm gonna straddle you." He waited before sitting on Lindsey's thighs. He waggled his eyebrows before flicking the bottle open and pouring some of the lotion into his hands, rubbing them together to warm it.

He hummed softly as he started rubbing the lotion into his back, massaging into his muscles slowly. "Maybe by the time you leave here some of these knots will be gone."

Following the angel's instructions, Lindsey shifted himself into the middle and made a soft noise when his legs became sat upon.

While this may be the key to solving that convoluted mind that made Gabriel tick, it also felt like self abuse when Lindsey asked, "So what counts as people deserving punishment?" If Lindsey working as the devil's advocate didn't, he didn't know what else construed to it.

He relaxed when Gabriel's hands started to work their straight forward magic to his back.

The question actually kind of surprised him and he considered how to answer for a moment, biting his lip as he poured more lotion into his hand and proceeded to continue working it into Lindsey's back. "Well, it depends. I've punished womanizers, rapists, particularly cruel people..." He shrugged a shoulder.

"Remember the night we met at the bar when that girl beat the hell out of those guys who were harassing her? Yeah that was all me." He massaged Lindsey's shoulders firmly, sliding just a little higher until he was almost sitting on his ass.

"It also depends on how bad the person is as to how badly they are punished."

"Unless we have a Slayer in L.A., I thought there was something going on there." He pillowed his arms under his head and glanced over his shoulder towards the angel.

"Primary offenders only then?" Whereas, people like him who defend them do not count. It was a good thought if not quite realistic.

He groaned when Gabriel kneaded into a specifically tender spot, then continued making another low moan after to entice him a bit more.

He looked down at Lindsey, raising an eyebrow. "I deal with the big timers. I'm not the only Trickster in the world though. No one of us takes on the full responsibility." He shrugged a shoulder before bending down and kissing his cheek quickly.

When he heard the moan he shifted, rolling his hips against Lindsey's ass. "Lindsey are you trying to seduce me again?"

"I have no idea what you're talking about," Lindsey answered although he dutifully pushed his ass back up into the angel's crotch. If asked, he would happily blame it on the rolling motion of their water bed.

"But it must be good, to do what you want when you want, no schedule, no laws..." Wouldn't Lindsey love to have a schedule like that. Power at his fingertips and no one to stop him or threaten him.
